Charmaine Lawrence Appointed as New CEO of Full Circle Docklands

We are delighted to announce that Charmaine Lawrence has been appointed as new CEO of Full Circle Docklands.

Charmaine has a long history with the organisation having attended as a young person as well as leading our youth provision for more than three years.

During recent years, her exceptional leadership has enabled the organisation to develop and expand its youth services, including a hugely popular holiday club provision, which has been praised by Bristol City Council for supporting a vast number of families in need.

Alongside youth and community programmes, Charmaine will now also be responsible for the commercial side of our non-profit organisation, which enables our charitable services to be sustainable so we can continue to support and enhance the lives of locals for years to come.

In a statement following her appointment, Charmaine explained:

“I am deeply honoured and humbled to announce that I have been promoted to the position of CEO at Full Circle Docklands. Growing up as part of the Full Circle family and learning about its rich history, including the incredible support provided by founder Marion Harris to the newly arrived West Indian community in St Pauls during the Windrush era as they navigated their new lives in the UK, fills me with immense pride.

My childhood and important milestones, like my first trip to Disney World Florida and Universal Studios at 16, were made possible through Full Circle Docklands. I express my gratitude to the board of directors and the entire FCD team for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading this vital charity forward. It won't always be easy, but I will always give 1000%.

I thank all those who have come before me, guiding this organisation and making a significant difference in our community and city.”
