Our whole centre was refurbished in spring 2021 and we can't wait to show you around!
The Design Process
The interior refurbishment was designed by Askew Cavanna Architects, based in St Pauls. Being local, we were able to work closely with them on the vision for the centre. The design process included a consultation with 120 local people.

The architects showed careful consideration to our building users, stating: "Askew Cavanna Architects are committed to creating environments that result in a positive impact on people’s lives and the world we live in. We have built a reputation for meaningful collaborations, creative thinking and a deep understanding of sustainability. It may seem obvious, but we really do care about the buildings we work on and the architecture that we create. We work with community groups and charities, practicing an architecture of 'appropriateness' based on an understanding of the needs of the Client grown from building personal face-to-face relationships. We listen and respond in a reflective way. Schemes are developed through discussion and exploration of ideas to maximise possibilities and unlock potential. We aim to add delight to each project."
The Design Realised...
It's a striking transformation and the centre now looks fresh and inviting. It is tastefully decorated in bright white with accents of yellow, green and orange. We've received loads of positive feedback from visitors and young people.
Our stunning murals welcome guests, adding a touch of community spirit and showcasing the history of our building.
Want to See for Yourself?
Young people can check out the transformed centre by popping down to one of our youth sessions run by Full Circle. Or if you're hosting an event, you can hire out the whole centre for £40.00 per hour. Whole centre hire includes the lounge, kitchen, corridors and sports hall. This offers a great space for a large meeting or party of up to 300 people.
