About the Host
The event is hosted by One Front Door which is funded and managed by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA), led by Metro Mayor Dan Norris, and delivered by Bristol City Council in partnership with Skills Connect.
The One Front Door Project aims to support Bristol residents who need employment support, advice and guidance. They can also signpost recommendations around other issues including Mental Health, Wellbeing, Financial problems and a wide range of other topics.
Their inclusive service is available to all residents of the City of Bristol, delivering a range of resources to assist individuals, employers and providers.
One Front Door:
- use a coordinated approach referring participants to local providers where appropriate, using the existing Ways2Work network (and others).
- provide personalised employment support that meets the needs of both the work ready and those with complex barriers preventing them from entering the job market.
- offer assistance to employers to help them match the right people to the right jobs and guidance on how to be inclusive employers.
Employers and providers are offered opportunities to promote their organisations and the chance to share insights into how they can help.
If you are unemployed, One Front Door can help you consider your work and training options and help you find out about the support services available in Bristol.
